Her condition became severe and she experienced multiple organ failure, including her kidneys, which failed to recover. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis became her new normal. After 80 straight days in the hospital from near-death to long road to recovery she finally returned home, but her life forever changed. After nearly a year and half of dialysis Angelica was ready to undergo the biggest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. It was her own mother who would donate the kidney. Angelica Hale, along with her mother went through an organ transplantation procedure in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston on September 13th 2013. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity ever since.
