Ann Turkel

Her home is with her family in Beverly Hills, California with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel has been married only for eight years, and has been divorced from Richard Harris since 20. However, she isn't able to be happy about his demise. Turkel was born to a Jewish family and was raised through her maternal grandmother in Manhattan. When she reached she was 16 she was studying under Sanford Meisner and Philip Burton, both at the Neighborhood playhouse and The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Ann began taking dance lessons at the age of at the age of five. She credits her creative flair to her mother. Ann was a student in her early years, studying dancing, acting and singing. Ann at the time was sixteen years old, studied at both the Neighborhood Playhouse (formerly the Musical Theatre Academy) as well as the Musical Theatre Academy under some of the best acting teachers that were in the city. They were Sandy Meisner & Philip Burton. In high school Ann began singing together with her fellow students and formed an all-rock and roll ensemble. The band also took part in a year of summer stock theater in the Berkshire Playhouse in Stockbridge, Massachusetts with plays such as The Pajama Game" and West Side Story. Ann was spotted at the Vogue Magazine fashion show by Gloria Schiff, an editor. Diana Vreeland, the editor in chief at Vogue Magazine, requested that Ann photograph her first Vogue magazine cover within two days. In the following weeks, Ann was one of the sought-after models across America, landing on the cover of some of the most prestigious fashion magazines including Vogue Bazaar and Cosmopolitan among many other publications. Ann began modeling for Max Factor Revlon in Europe and Japan for Max Factor Revlon as well as Chanel after two successful years.
